:: Introducing the House of Warriors

Ever since I created this new blog, I've been wanting to give each person in our family an alias.  I don't know why I kept wanting to do so and then it dawned on me one day that we are meant to be prayer warriors - each and every one of us!  We are here to interceed, stand in the gap, and cry out to our Heavenly Father for justice, mercy, and His return.  It has been a long mission since Danner and I commited to raise our family to live by prayers and intercession.  We've given up much and received much more and it's been so worth it!

I started calling Danner "Superman" because he's just a super person!  He's so smart, gentle, compassionate, funny, witty, well-liked, genuine, servant-hearted, hot, handsome, did I say hot already?  Seriously, he can listen so well and love so well.  He reminds me of the picture of Jesus sometimes.  Maybe not quite, but very close.  He makes me want to be a better person overall.  Sometimes I'm jealous of how he's being able to listen any teachings and can recite them without troubles or how he loves people.  He's always reasonable.  I can always come to him with a ball of mess and he'll help me untangle them and set me straight on my path.  He loves his children and truly leads them well.  He is the man!  I can keep go on and on about him, but I'm sure you catch the drift that he's just a super duper person!

Allison, I think I will keep calling her "Baby Doll".  It's a special name Danner's late grandparents called her since she was born.  She's the only girl out of the five great-grandchildren and she's extra special.  I wanted to give her a super hero name but nothing seems to fit her right.  The name is so endearing to me so I feel like it should stay.  But don't be fooled by her super powers though.  She is quite smart for a four years old.  She can do a very nice karate kick and is quick like a ninja!   She is light on her toes at the same time and can sure dance!  She can catch just about any critters outside although she understands I don't always appreciate them being brought into the house.  She can create the biggest hurricane in the livingroom without being asked.  Haha.  She has a big heart like her Daddy.  She cares about many things and loves "dark red".  She wouldn't eat egg yolks because they're not her favorite color!  Silly girl!  Her favorite topic at meal times is about God.  She wants to know everything about Him and questions everything she hears.  She has gifts that need to be tune and shaped for the full purpose of His calling.

Isaac, ah, my sweet boy!  His name is "The Boy Wonder"!  His Daddy calls him that.  He is just overall wonderful, sweet, loving, friendly, doesn't know a stranger.  His heart is like gold and can make yours melt like butter.  He is as fast as lightning!  He can follow his big sister every where on all four!  He's very daring.  Though he's only seven months old, he's been attempting to stand, reach for things that are too far out of reach.  The cool thing is that his entire nursery is a comic book theme!  His Daddy gave him all of his childhood comic figures and books.  Even his name is made with sounds (I'll just have to share this on another blog post).  He is a warrior boy!  He loves to play wrestle with his Daddy and Sister.  Mommy doesn't appreciate that too much when he tries to pound me.  He loves music and hears me pray.  He is often with me at the microphone on the stage prayer leading.  Someday when he finds his voice, I know he'll pray and the heaven will render.

Our dog Colby, yes, he has to have a name too!  He is "Krypto" because he is super close to Danner.  He adores him.  As soon as Danner sits down anywhere Colby would right by his side, even laying in his lap like his own baby.  He's the strangest dog I ever know so the name is quite fitting for him.

Finally, Danner gave me Ms. Marvel.  I don't know his reason, but I like the name.  ;-)

Our family have dedicated ourselves in areas of preparedness.  Danner is a trained responder with Crisis Response International.  He is so good at what he does.  He even works at the ER because he loves helping people in their time of distress.  We are trying to be as sufficient as we can with what we have and good stewarts of the Lord's blessings.  I'm learning to be a better homemaker, homeschool teacher, an intercessor, and supporter of orphans and widows and those who foster care and adopt.  We feel called to someday go out on mission fields training and preparing people for crisis response.  This is who we are.  We are a house of warriors.
